Hilariously, at the time this particular Dvorsky Durp broke another Gizmodo article written by an actual scientist trended on their popular posts widget and was brought up in the comments (http://gizmodo.com/gene-editing-wont-work-on-complex-traits-like-intellige-1746595228). Naturally, the author in question was derided as a blinkered Fake Geek Girl wannabe expert immediately...
Good gracious, Giz and io9 have become such a shitshow. No wonder they're one site now.
